Wangdor Rinpoche To Give Dzogchen Teaching During Retreat June 1 - 3, 2007
Wangdor Rinpoche will visit the Rime Buddhist Center in Kansas City, Missouri from June 1 - 3. He is a Tibetan monk and lama who is respected worldwide as a venerable teacher and a master of the “direct mind perception” or Dzogchen meditation. He has spent more than 30 years meditating in caves first used by the Tibetan saint, Padmasambhava, above the Lotus Lake (Tso Pema) in Northern India. He has taught and given empowerments in Asia, Europe, and the United States over the past two decades. Wangdor Rinpoche holds both Nyingma and Kagyu Dzogchen/Chagchen lineages and is considered a Rime teacher
Dzogchen means the great perfection in Tibetan and is the consummate practice of Tibetan Buddhism. it is considered to be the “teaching of our time” because it is direct, immediate and profound.
