The miracle is not walking on water
but walking mindfully upon the earth.

Mindfulness Meditation Residential Retreat:
Focusing on our Inner Landscape
Sponsored by Unity of Fayetteville
June 6-9 with Ben Worth and Kate Guendling at country home of Mary Lightheart
Full retreat Wednesday night 6 pm through Saturday Dinner, $75
Mini retreat…Friday night and Saturday, $30
Ben Worth and Kate Guendling will lead this retreat to create openings for our spiritual nature to be felt and expressed in creative ways. We will use structured silence and rituals as the tools to explore our inner landscape and go beyond the senses. Age-old methods will be used to resolve issues and find answers not available to our analytical minds. This will be a sangha (community) experience as we support each other to go beyond our normal stress-filled world to a place of compassion, love, and peace. Mindfulness has a way of reducing our stress and allowing us to see things more clearly without having to think our way out of our messes. Regular practice of mindfulness will integrate our meditation with our everyday lives.
Retreat leader Ben Worth has been a spiritual guide in Kansas City for over ten years. He has pursued healing, wholeness and awakening for more than twenty years. Combining Buddhist and Christian philosophy with the wisdom of science sets Ben’s teachings apart. He is dedicated to creating simple and practical techniques for healing our wounds, learning from our problems, and finding peace.
Kate Guendling holds degrees in Communications and Religious Studies. She has completed the Association of Unity Church’s Personal Development program and is an applicant in Unity’s Licensed Teacher certification program. She is a Spiritual Life Coach and a Teacher. She blends the mystic teachings of Buddhism, Sufism, and esoteric Christianity into transformational rituals that move people beyond the physical and into their authentic inner Being.
