The Ecumenical Buddhist Society of Little Rock is sponsoring a two-day non-residential Metta (lovingkindness) meditation retreat with Ginny Morgan on July 22-23, 2006. The retreat will be held in the meditation hall at the Ecumenical Buddhist Society, 1015 W. Second Street, Little Rock, Arkansas. Registration is $60 - 70.

Zen Master Soeng Hyang will give a public dharma talk on Saturday June 24, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fayetteville. The talk is free and open to the public.
Zen Master Soeng Hyang (Bobby Rhodes) is the international head of the Kwan Um School of Zen. She was one of the first American students of the school’s founder, Zen Master Seung Sahn, and was given transmission by him. Besides being the Guiding Teacher for the Providence Zen Center and head of the School, she’s a registered nurse and works in a hospice program. She’s a wonderful, down-to-earth teacher.
